The Rinspeed iChange Concept was announced at the Geneva Motor Show. The iChange is an automotive study into the way tomorrow's cars can be made to interact with their passengers. Rinspeed spent some seriously hard currency to the tune of €1 million to build it. Thus there is very little risk of it being on sale to the general public. Maybe it might work as a movie prop for the next Transformers?
Otherwise the greatest desire of Rinspeed founder and CEO Frank M. Rinderknecht is to showcase technologies that may be adapted for use in real cars of the future. The iChange has as its main attraction, the ability to change from a 1 seater to a 2 seater and finally into a 3 seater via some electronic trickery.
"If we want to preserve our individual mobility in the future, we have to re-think our conception of cars - above all we need to accommodate the ecological aspects," said Rinderknecht at the time of the iChange's announcement. Clean technologies are also applied to the 130kW (177hp) car so that it becomes a complete eco-friendly model car for the future motorist.

Aston Martin One-77 V12 Breaks Cover in Geneva
"We wanted to create something that wows you as much when you see what's under the skin as the exterior styling itself," said Chris Porritt, One-77 Programme Manager. "We started by identifying the most technologically exciting front-engined, rear-wheel drive cars in the world: those from the DTM race series. We then applied the principles and technology that feature heavily in their design and translated it to a road car application."
The One 77 structural core is a lightweight yet extremely rigid carbon fibre monocoque which was conceived and designed at Aston Martin's Gaydon HQ, and built in partnership with Multimatic (MTC).
Aston Martin's enginners fitted the One 77 with a double wishbone suspension and fully adjustable dampers featuring Dynamic Suspension Spool Valve (DSSV) technology, a world-first for a road car application according to the British firm. These special valves are state-of-the-art even at the highest levels of motorsport,
Underneath its elongated bonnet, the One 77 gets a naturally aspirated 7.3-liter V12 engine derived from the 6.0-litre V12s fitted to the DBS, DB9 and new V12 Vantage models. Aston Martin projects that it will deliver over 700HP offering the car a projected top speed in excess of 200mph (312 km/h), with a 0-60mph (96km/h) time in approximately 3.5 sec.
Alfa Romeo Giulia Photoshoped on Chrysler 200C RWD Concept
In the world of Photoshop, there are no boundaries other than one's imagination. Take this proposal for the Alfa Romeo's 159 successor called Giulia for example; the guys over at CWW Automotive Design based the chop on Chrysler's latest concept car, the mid-size 200C study that was presented at this year's Detroit Show. Pure fantasy? Maybe in what concerns the design, but if Chrysler LLC and the Fiat Group end up joining forces and if the American automaker manages to stand on its feet, the 200C that uses a shortened version of the 300's RWD platform could find its way into production and at the same time serve as a base for a next-generation Giulia offering Alfa their first rear-wheel drive sedan in nearly two decades. Corvette Sideswipe Transformer Makes Official Debut at Chicago Show
After all the rumors and more leaks than a New Orleans levy, the wait is over for General Motors' latest Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Concept that will play the role of 'Sideswipe' in the next Transformers movie dubbed "Revenge of the Fallen" due for release on June 26, 2009. Stylistically inspired by the original Corvette Stingray race car, introduced in 1959, the Autobot concept also draws on Corvette heritage cues from other generation models to create a shape that we wouldn't mind seeing influencing the next Vette.
"SIDESWIPE represents an exercise in exploration for the Corvette," said Ed Welburn, vice president of GM Global Design. "By giving my creative team the freedom to design no-holds-barred vision concepts, it helps them push boundaries and look at projects from different perspectives."
